Maureen Costello serves as the Office Manager and Paralegal at Just Criminal Law, where she plays a central role in keeping the firm organized, responsive, and client-focused each day. Her responsibilities include scheduling, communicating with clients, preparing and managing case documents, coordinating with courts, and file management. Maureen joined the firm after 15 years with the Campbell County Attorney’s Office, bringing with her extensive experience in the legal system, along with earlier professional experience in human resources administration. Although she initially entered the legal field unexpectedly, she quickly discovered a genuine passion for the work and has remained committed to it ever since. Maureen is motivated by seeing people move forward after difficult circumstances and takes pride in knowing that her efforts can make someone’s life a little easier during challenging times. She values the professional yet approachable environment at Just Criminal Law and enjoys learning from the attorneys while contributing to a positive workplace culture. Outside of the office, Maureen enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, being outdoors, and traveling.
